Berkey® Imperial

The Berkey Imperial stand-alone purifier is ideal for home use and sudden emergencies.
For everyday use, it can be installed on a countertop or other support.

Berkey water purification systems reduce harmful contaminants from tap water, but especially from raw water sources such as rainwater, rivers, fountains, wells, lakes, etc… Designed for four to six people, it gives you access to filtered water through its tap.Its capacity is 17 liters.DescriptionThe Berkey Imperial system is ideal for medium to large families, or unexpected emergencies.

It can hold up to 6 filter elements.

It’s easy to use: simply fill the upper chamber with the water of your choice, nestle it above the lower chamber, let the filter elements work, and serve yourself by turning on the tap.

The Imperial Berkey system consists of several components:

• Upper and lower chambers in highly polished ASI 304 stainless steel, 25 cm in diameter and 65 cm high.

• Two Black Berkey purifiers, with a maximum filtration rate of 20.8 liters of purified water per hour*.
• Stainless steel lid
• A tap (stainless steel optional)

Each pair of Black Berkeys can filter up to 22700 liters of water before needing to be changed.

Available options :

If you wish, you can add two to four filtration elements, either with the Berkey PF-2 system, which has the capacity to reduce fluoride and arsenic, or with traditional Black Berkeys.
In this case, you’ll get a higher filtration rate:

• For 4 filter elements: 41.6 liters per hour of filtered water*.
• For 6 filter elements: 62.5 liters per hour of filtered water*.

*Flow rate is calculated with the chamber highly filled.
Flow rate decreases as water level decreases.
