Overview The Crown Berkey stand-alone purifier is ideal for home use and sudden emergencies.
For everyday use, it can be installed on a countertop or other support.
Berkey water purification systems reduce harmful contaminants from tap water, but more importantly from raw water sources such as rainwater, rivers, fountains, wells, lakes, etc. Designed for six to twelve people, it gives you access to filtered water through its tap.
Its capacity is 22.7 liters.  Description
The Crown Berkey system is the largest in the range. It’s ideal for large families, communities, hospitals, offices or unexpected emergencies. It’s easy to use: simply fill the upper chamber with the water of your choice, nestle it above the lower chamber, let the filter elements work, and serve yourself by turning on the tap. The Crown Berkey system consists of several components: Upper and lower chambers made of highly polished ASI 304 stainless steel, 27.5 cm in diameter and 75 cm high. Two Black Berkey purifiers, with a maximum filtration rate of 24.6 liters of purified water per hour* A stainless steel lid A tap (stainless steel optional) Each pair of Black Berkeys can filter up to 22700 liters of water before needing to be changed.  

Options available: If you wish, you can add up to six filter elements, either with the Berkey PF-2 system, which has the capacity to reduce fluoride and arsenic, or with traditional Black Berkeys.
In this case, you’ll get a higher filtration flow rate: For 4 filter elements: 49.2 liters per hour of filtered water* For 6 filter elements: 73.8 liters per hour of filtered water* For 8 filter elements: 98.4 liters per hour of filtered water* *The flow rate is calculated with the chamber highly filled.
Flow rate decreases as water level decreases.
