Light Berkey®

The Light Berkey is a gravity-fed water purification system for everyday use.
It can be used to purify various sources of drinking water, such as tap water, rainwater, stream water, well water, lake water, etc.
The filtration principle relies on a filter based on coconut carbon and ionized silver, which purifies the water by eliminating contaminants and making it fit for consumption, while allowing the minerals essential for the body to pass through.
The system is equipped with 2 Black Berkey water purifiers, which have a lifespan of around 11,350 liters when used with tap water, and up to 4 times less with reclaimed water.
The average cost of filtration is around 0.0058 euros per liter, making them an economical option for having purified water available.
The storage capacity of the lower tank is 10.4 liters, enough to meet the needs of a family of 3 to 4 people.
Filtration speed varies according to the number of filters used, with a capacity of 15.2 liters per hour with 2 filters and 26.5 liters per hour with 4 filters.
The system is made up of several components, including the 2 “Black Berkey” filters, water storage tanks, tap, lid, booster stand and other optional accessories such as additional filter elements or a priming kit.
The advantage of this system is that it is versatile, capable of purifying both tap water and untreated raw water sources.
