Berkey PF-2 filter elements are designed to enhance the degree of water filtration by providing additional treatment associated with Black Berkey purifiers.

Their action absorbs the following elements found in the drink:
- Fluoride: sodium fluoride, sodium fluosilicate, fluorosilicic acid (also known as hydrofluorosilic acid)
- Pre-oxidized arsenic III and V
- Other residual heavy metal ions
They are made of n°5 polypropylene, Bisphenol A (BPA)-free.
PF-2 fluoride and arsenic reduction elements are installed in the lower chamber by attaching to Black Berkey purifiers.
This is the only way they work.
- 2 Black Berkey purifiers = 2 PF-2 filters
- 4 Black Berkey purifiers = 4 PF-2 filters
- 6 Black Berkey purifiers = 6 PF-2 filters
